You’ll need to provide some additional information like:

  1. What version of openSUSE you’re using.
  2. What desktop environment you’re using
  3. What your network controller is
  4. How it’s connected to the Internet (direct, using a router, or
    something else)

I have OpenSuses 11.4 with KDE. Network card: RealTek PCI.

In meantime I have successfully created the connection. I have installed the missing linux-atm-lib.

I can’t start now the connection, I see the At Boot Time option, but nothing happens.

From console: how can I start manually the connection? How to edit the conn. parameters?
Which text editor can I use under KDE? Can I use the Midnight Commander under console?
