Setting up hotkeys to change language layouts.

Hello,

A very newbie question. I poked around OpenSUSE 13.1 for quite a while and could not find a way to set up hotkeys to change keyboard layouts, like one does in windows. I regularly work in English and Russian and need to change keyboard layouts very frequently. I did install the Russian language packages and added russian as a preferred language, but I see no way to set up hotkey combinations to be able to actually type in Russian, nor is there anything in the system tray. How can this be dealt with?

Ivan

Isn’t this Desktop Environment dependent. When that is the case, please tell which one you use.

Hi,

I use KDE.

Found it: Configure Desktop>Input Devices>Layouts

Congratulations. Finding it yourself is often more satisfying.
