Actually, you’re question is using powermanager under KDE4 (right?).
I use 11.1, but since KDE 3.5 is a valid option at install, I used
that. So I use powermanager the same way as always.
The problem I’m having is i’m installing on a AMD 64 fx55.The cpuinfo shows it running at 1200 MHZ not 2600 MHZ.I have Suse installed about two month ago.I had to set Power Manager to performance to get it to show 2600 MHZ.I forgot how to make the setting. For some reason Power Managers do not like the Fx 55 chip.On most Linux OS I have to change the setting or delete the Power Management to keep the Computer from locking up.This only happens with the FX 55 Chip.
