Just edit your connection(s).
On the tabs for IPv4 and IPv6 are input fields for DNS servers.

Thanks for the speedy response. When I right-click on the Network Manager icon it opens Network Management Settings but after that I cannot open any selection offered. Could that be because I am using KDE and Network Manager is a Gnome based utility?
Don’t right-click on it. That’s for configuring the applet itself, not the connections.
Left-click on it on click on the “settings” symbol in the upper right corner to get to the connection editor:

No. The NetworkManager icon in your system tray is a KDE thing.

Would you know of a link to a tutorial for changing settings? I can manage settings for YaST Wicked wired connections but I have no experience with wireless.
No. But except for some Wireless specific parts (Access Point, Encryption, …) there should not be much difference.
Btw, you can also use Wicked with wireless, but then you have to configure it in YaST.
