server-paths - and the absolute and relative in a linux-[opensuse 11.4] lampp-system

well good moring dear OpenSuse-friends - hope you are all right and everythings is fine

just set up the Lampp on opensuse 11.´4

today i have a question regarding server-paths - and the absolute and relative in a linux-[opensuse 11.4] lampp-system
well i just installed something in to my Lampp on openSuse 11.4

while setting up this application - (it is a joomla 1.7.3 ) i wonder how i name the paths

	public $unicodeslugs = '0';
	public $feed_limit = '10';
->	public $log_path = 'D:\\Xammp\\xampp\\htdocs\\pre1/logs';
->	public $tmp_path = 'D:\\Xammp\\xampp\\htdocs\\pre1/tmp';
	public $lifetime = '15';
	public $session_handler = 'database';

what cou you thinks how shoud i name the paths -

the absolute paths
the relative paths
note - i marked them both with **this sign -> **

well you see above this was a windows box where the pahts originally were taken from

love to hear from you

Why don’t you just use the browser based installation and create a new configuration.php file instead of trying to edit the parameters yourself?

hello ken_yap

many thanks for the reply - well can do this - and then i have a reference.
at the moment i have a preinstallled version that i got from a friend of mine.
now i want to do have the preinstalled thing up and running on my local server.

well regarding the issue: I believe it is /opt/lampp/htdocs (to the document root) - guess so?
