I’m trying to install openSUSE 11.1 for my friends notebook, which is an MSI VX600, but it hangs at udev. (the cursor stops blinking)
I also tried to turn off the wireless, unplug any usb devices, but still hangs after restart.
Does anybody knows what makes it hang? (Does anybody else have this problem?)
I can’t decide if you actually managed to install or not. If you did, have you tried the failsafe boot option from the menu?
