September 2012 Screenshots

Just updated to openSUSE 12.2. View larger:

I just installed openSUSE 12.1 Gnome but haven’t customized anything yet (waiting for Dropbox to finish downloading all of my wallpapers). It isn’t my primary system but will give me a chance to fool around with openSUSE and Gnome shell before I build the server out of it.

If Google Drive becomes available for Linux, that will likewise loosen the hold Ubuntu has on me. If I can connect to SkyDrive, then even moreso!

Opensuse 12.2, KDE, and my mod of Kfaenza icon theme …

just one word … perfect

Here’s my openSUSE 12.2 GNOME 3.4.2 desktop…](](

I have weather-wallpaper, caffeine (screensaver inhibitor), pithos (pandora client), gnome-agenda amongst other things running…

The shell theme is orta, along with a few other gnome-shell extensions, all in all working fine so far

Here is openSUSE 12.2 KDE 4.9.1
Found this cool Ghost theme, used GNOME icons, and changed launcher icon from Mines, wallpaper is some industrial complex witch i had on me
Hope you guys like it
P.S. The blurred out stuff is just for fun as I tried out gimp 2.8, and to keep it in the “ghost” theme

Very cool! I do like it.

I was going to make a screenshot of my 12.1 w/Gnome but decided to try and upgrade it to 12.2. That borked the system.

So it is going to take a little longer… plus I am still unsure whether to do Gnome again, or KDE. I hate this indecision! Nightwishfan’s Plasma Netbook screenshot is swaying me some towards KDE…](](

Pretty much as 12.2 is out of the box, just added some desktop icons.

That looks like a really nice machine back_space.

Here is my Officially openSUSE 12.2 Loaded PC Desktop …
