Is there any way to configure Konsole so that selecting a block of text is the same as copying it. You can do this in Putty and it’s very handy. Right click then pastes it…

Linux in general copies anything that is selected to a second copy/paste
buffer that you may not know about. You are probably already familiar
with the one used for Ctrl+C Ctrl+V (Copy/Paste in the Edit menu
usually) but that’s the long way. Any text you select is automatically
“copied” to another buffer for use with the middle-click or
mouse-wheel-click (by default). Give it a try.
