Solution 1: install libgstphotography-1_0-0-1.18.5-5.1.x86_64 from vendor openSUSE
replacing libgstphotography-1_0-0-1.18.5-8.1.x86_64 from vendor http://packman.links2linux.de
Solution 2: keep obsolete libgstphotography-1_0-0-1.18.5-8.1.x86_64

I guess you did not notice this message:

Changes to Gstreamer and Pipewire packages from Packman

In brief, you need to allow those packages to switch from packman to opensuse repos.

I got the message, and things have been good like this for months.
So why no am I being ask to make a switch?
I rather stick with the pacman repo, which seem to already have the latest version.
So looks to me like the install script is confused.

Recheck the message.

Those packages are being removed from the packman repo. Thus the packman repo no longer has the latest version (or any version).

OK thanks for this additional info. I actually decided to keep the one from the pacman repo, is there a way to correct this? or will future update let me switch.

I would consider prompting the user with a message letting them know the switch is occurring and to allow this to take place.
I was under the impression this was some conflict resulting from duplication of packages.

OK it looks like I keep getting asked to switch, so selected the openSUSE repository.
