A security notice came out last week from CERT regarding security issues with Firefox and Thunderbird, and the recommendation was to upgrade to version 31 for each. About a day later, I got an update for FIrefox to ver 31, but nothing for Thunderbird. Can we get a status update on this? If nothing is planned, I’ll get it direct from Mozilla.
Mozilla offered an ESR (extended support release) version which is currently supported with security patches released as required. There has been a recent shift to merge the ESR version into the stable release.
The following wiki page illustrates how it was at the time
You are correct – I was not and added this as a repo. I had done this in the past and everything was great! Unfortunately, when I added this repo, there was no Thunderbird 31 binary only development items. I will keep my eye on all this though. Thanks for your answers.
OK I’ve now added the Mozilla repo – again! – with a priority of 10 and it still doesn’t seem to get picked up, so no additional versions of any Mozilla products show up in Yast in Software Maintenance. Any ideas about how to fix this one? I have had this happen before actually and don’t exactly recall what I did to fix it.
The other repos I’ve added are all fine (I think).
