Second Monitor as Clone with Nvidia Graphiccard

Hello, I want to install a second Monitor (Samsung TV) which should act as a Mirror (Clone) for the first main Monitor (NEC). I use a nvidia GeForce GTX 960 Card.
The first main monitor is connected via HDMI, the second via DVI.
I could manage to adjust all resolutions etc. with the NVidia X Server Settings

On the main monitor I get the usual menues and background. But when I open an application it jumps to the second screen which has a default background, no menues and no mouse cursor.

How can I force the second monitor to act just as a mirror.

Many thanks in advance.

Did you check systemsettings>Display options?
See that both screens are not overlapping, both are active and what kind of output is set (unified or not).
If there appear to be only one screen try dragging it, it may be covering the second one.
Alternatively, if you are using Nvidia’s proprietary blob, check the layout in in nvidia-settings>X Server Display configuration.

Yes I did check systemsettings and nvidias x server settings.

I tried the ‘unified’ option in systemsettings and it didn’t work. Now I tried that again and now it works.

It’s still not perfect, but the second screen works as mirror now. Is there a ‘unified’ option in the nvidia x-server settings too? I found no correspondent option.

Thanks.

You can use your mouse to drag the monitors in nvidia-settings.
Or use the Position:

Please only apply, do not save to X Configuration.
