Searching for unresolved configuration files

I’ve observed that when my 11.1 system is booting up, it pauses for quite a while on the step “Searching for unresolved configuration files”. Is there any way to speed this up?

I did the Google search you suggested. The first thing it came up with was this very thread (not too surprising). The other things I found explained why there might be unresolved configuration files, but had no information I could find about how to avoid wasting time on the search during bootup, especially when there in fact are no unresolved configuration files.

I uncovered the answer to my question: use Yast and go to System/System Services (runlevel). In there you can disable the call on rpmconfigcheck.
