Hello all, New to the forum and openSuse. I’m trying to install 13.2 from a USB key.
Downloaded iso image.
Created usb key on /sdb using dd from Ubuntu.
Booted into it successfully.
Message saying, “check install medium” or similar.
Went into to config and /sdb is shown and checked that USB drivers loaded.
/sdb is not an option for install source.
Which image? There are DVD images, the NETWORK install images, and live images (in 32-bit and 64-bit).

What’s “/sdb”? Or did you mean “/dev/sdb”?

One of the boot menu options is to check the install medium. As far as I know, that doesn’t work correctly when you are using a USB device. It’s really only for DVD and CD devices.

Again, “/sdb” looks wrong. Did you mean “/dev/sdb”?
If you are using the NETWORK installer, and attempting to install over WiFi, then this is a known issue. Either use a wired connection or use the DVD installer.
What do I do?
