Iam using opensuse 12.1 (64 bit version) and installed scummvm from the associated games repository.
In principle it works but all games i have tested had not voice audio, just music. But when the games had intros with voice i could here it but not in the game itself.
Yes but iam talking about games that have voice audio. And as i said, on some games the intro video voice sound is working.
And yes i have all the needed files. How can i be sure about this? Because i used the same directory (containing the game files) on my windows PC running scummvm too, and there everything works fine, i just copied this directory over to my openSUSE notebook, no changes at all and then added them.
A specific game name would help, but now you have my attention. Perhaps the voices are in AAC or MP3? Packman has the exact same package but with AAC/MP3 support.
Yeah exactly, the mp3 lib was missing, i managed to compile the scummvm source by myself (after installing all the missing libraries) and it worked. But as i read your post a few minutes ago i even installed the packman version and it worked (and it is better that way because of updates).
Thanks
