SCSI Magnetic Tape

i just installing Linux Open Suse 11.1. As others linux distro like Redhat, we can detect scsi magnetic tape from /dev/st0 or /dev/nst0.
In linux Open Suse 11.1. i try to ls /dev/ and coud not find any nst or st.
I check on st driver by using lsmod command and verified that it is loaded.
As suggestion by community previously, i created device nodes as follows

mknod -m 666 /dev/st0 c 9 0
mknod -m 666 /dev/st0l c 9 32
mknod -m 666 /dev/st0m c 9 64
mknod -m 666 /dev/st0a c 9 96
mknod -m 666 /dev/nst0 c 9 128
mknod -m 666 /dev/nst0l c 9 160
mknod -m 666 /dev/nst0m c 9 192
mknod -m 666 /dev/nst0a c 9 224

it success…

But,when i reboot my server, st or nst0 disappear again. Could anybody help me regarding this matter? Should i install the driver from manufacturer or Linux OpenSuse 11.1 will detect this scsi magnetic tape automatically?

case close…Linux Suse 11.1 will auto loaded st driver when it detect magnetic scsi tape hardware…
