Screensaver

I have openSUSE 11.0, and my laptop dual boots linux/windows. If I go to “Screensaver” from the Controll center, it locks up, and won’t do ANYTHING but move the mouse. I tried restarting, and it still freezes up the moment screensaver is opened.

Also, after it goes to the screensaver, it doesn’t want to come out of it.

How can I fix this?!

Run this command from a terminal and see if it locks up:

$ xscreensaver-demo

I decided to uninstall “xscreensaver” and now It does not lock up anymore! thanks anyway! :slight_smile:

So what are you using then?

I unistalled “xscreensaver” but the screensaver still shows up in the Control Manager. But there aren’t as many screensavers (hardly any at all!) available, but I think it is worth not freezing up and to have not many options for screensavers!
