I’ve finished upgraded to opensuse 13.2. When I reboot it, the login and home screen were too large for my monitor. When I checked the nvidia x server setting, it didn’t detect any vga! What’s the problem?
Any idea?Help
Maybe the setting for grub are not right for your monitor. You can set it in Yast boot loader section.
Do you have any device between the monitor and the computer like a KVM switch that can sometimes block detection of the monitor information then the system has to guess the details about the monitor or you must provide the info.
.
I don’t have it
I think I must provide the info
I think I must provide the info
So did you try changing the resolution to something close to your monitors in Yast-boot loader section?
it would be nice to know the monitor and i/f type in use
I think I must provide the info
Thanks gogalthorp. It really works. You make my day mate
