screen stop in suse 11.1 and 11.2

i i’have a problem with suse in 11.1 and 11.2 on my computer
i precise i’m new in linux
on my compouter the screen stop without reson and without message
same the computer is in activity.
my config ati 4650 intel core 2 mother board asus p5q
i try to change the energie config in bios for s1 pos
and i try to change the energie setting in linux but the problem is same.
if anyone have a solution or idea please post

This happens to me when the autoupdate thing is accessing the net and
checking. Very annoying, but after it’s done everything goes back to
normal. I assume a newer version of OpenSUSE fixes this; I’m using 11.1.
