Since upgrading to kde 4.2, I can’t get any screen savers to work. I can choose a screen saver and preview it (“Test”) full screen no problem from System Settings/Desktop/Screen Saver, however when a screen saver starts up after the set time of inactivity, it just sits there with no animation. This happens with both 3d (OGL) and 2d (e.g. Popsquares) screen savers.
My system is fully updated.
Any tips on how to get this working?
