screen flickers after turning off

hi there
i am a new user of opensuse, coming from ubuntu.
i am using opensuse 13.1 KDE and i have noticed one thing: i setup my screen to turn off after 2 minutes. after the screen is turnd off, one minutes ahead, the screen flickers once for a split second, after that, after another one minutes, the screen flickers again once for a split second. and after that, nothing is going on, the screen remanins turned off.
why is this happening? here is my lspci:
