Hi everyone,
I’m trying to install then new 12.3 beta on a IBM x3250 M4 server but I can’t even start the installation because the graphics is completely distorted. The onboard graphic card is the Matrox G200eR2, I’ve installed also a matrox Millenium G55 but even on this graphic card no home: graphic completely scrambled. I’m really new to openSuSE, maybe someone can help me…

You might expect responses suggesting you’re posting on the forum because you’re trying to install the beta. I haven’t
tried the beta of 12.3 yet, but since you’re new to openSUSE and I’ve experienced problems with Matrox cards in the
past, let me attempt a stab a dark that might help. Let’s assume you’re installing from the full DVD (rather the Live
version - you really should specify though). At the boot-up screen, when you’re invited to install or boot from hard
drive, notice (I think using the function keys) you can switch the kernel/driver mode to safe settings (look at the
options at the bottom e.g. language, resolution, etc…). Previous experience suggests this will allow you reach the
installation stage.
This should have been posted in the clearly labelled help subforum: Pre-release/Beta. You can ask a Moderator to move it there via the “report this post” icon, bottom left of the window. 
Thanks for the reply. I’m on the full DVD installation, I’m using the 12.3 because at least something looking like “textual” appears on the screen, the 12.2 remains blocked on "ELILO boot: … Loading kernel Linux… " .
On the 12.3 I see a quick “Welcome to GRUB!” appearing ant then … I’ve attached the images…
Will be moved to Pre-release/Beta. CLOSED for the moment.
Moved from Install/Boot/Login and open again.
Have you tried installing with the nokms option ?
