Scilab crashes on plot

Hello

I have openSUSE 11.1, DELL vostro 1500 with NVIDIA card (Which type?).
I am runnnig SCilab 5.1.1 which crashes on plot.
The same scilab runs on the same computer through Windows Vista (I have dual boot).
I suppose this is a linux problem.
How do I make progress in resolving the issue.

I’ve the same problem, but I think it is a opensuse (11.1) problem because scilab works (plots) correctly on ubuntu 9.10…
I hope anybody could help us.
