Hello All,

On 10.2 ntfs-3g is the way to go for this. It’s the most stable and offers good performance.
Have a look here on how to install on 10.2 : NTFS - openSUSE
10.3 and up have the read/write support built in.

Thank you for your advice. I followed the NTFS website you showed me and have got through the first steps smoothly. But after I changes an entry as below:
/dev/hda1 /windows/C ntfs-3g user,users,gid=users,umask=0002 0 0
I still can’t save or edit files on those windows partitions, either with my normal user or with the root. Does this mean I have to do any other changes beyond this point?
Thank you very much for your advice. I’ve get every thing through following the NTFS website you showed me.
Good to hear that & you’re welcome
Cheers,
Wj
