I have a home server, which runs on OpenSUSE 10.3 x64. Since my current motherboard does not support BIOS RAID 5, I would like to buy a PCI or PCIe SATA RAID controller. Does any of you have experience with such a controller under linux?
Im dealing with my dawicontrol dc150. It runs proper during last week but now the system only boots, when I disconnect one of my disks.
I’m afraid a hardware-raid won’t run under linux with this equipment.
So better choose another controller
