I want to set up a Samba Server with a single SAS Drive, I happen to have a Highpoint SAS Controller, but will buy whatever works. They all seem to provide software to integrate into the kernel, but nothing to load during install. Is there a SAS Controller that has install drivers? I was also referred to kernel.org which apparently
does have a installed in the kernel, but don’t know how that works yet.(OpenSuSe Build Service…?)
Any suggestions on the best or easiest way to set up a SAS Drive on a new OpenSuSe 11.2 x64 install will be appreciated…
