Samsung YP-P2 MTP mp3 player Suggestions?

Anyone have any suggestions on what program to use with my Samsung YP-P2 MTP mp3 player?

Why don’t you just try connecting it to see what happens and come back to us with some more info.
You might let us know what desktop you use too.

Sorry, I normally use Xfce but I believe I am going to try KDE 4.1 this install. When I plug it in, nothing because it uses MTP transfer

As far as I am aware there is support for MTP in Linux, eg Amarok

I’m currently using Amarok to connect to my Samsung YP-T10J without any problems. This device uses the “MTP media device plugin” in Amarok.
