I have a Macbook Pro 2,66 Ghz (June 2009) and i also use a Samsung T240HD-Screen. The Mac has a MiniDisplayport und i use a converter to HDMI. I don’t get a signal on the external screen. It is displayed in the X-Server-Settings and i can configure it (Resolution, Twinview, Position and so on) but when i go to the GPU-Section all the Information in the section of den T240HD-screen is “unknown”.
