I have just purchased the above printer and would welcome any assistance in installing. I now spent the best part of a day to no effect.
I have downloaded the linux drivers from Samsung but am now struggling to install.
Did you manage to extract or unpack the install archive yet? You should be able to do that with a right-click on the file icon, and selecting the appropriate action. The next step us to execute the install script in the folder it extracted to. Make sure you have the printer connected by USB cable while configuring initially.
I’m away from my Linux machine today, so will check back here tomorrow to check on your progress.
