Samba problem

Hi,

I’m trying to setup a simple file sharing network between two LinBox openSuSe v.12.3 and openSuSe v.12.2 respectively using Samba. I don’t wont a file server or Domain Controller just a simple NT like network with a workgroup that can accommodate a WinBox in the future. Does anyone have any info please?

This is a bit old, but is still be a good place to start.

Newer versions of openSUSE have some minor changes in YaST2. The big difference is the use of systemd for starting the
services.
