Samba issues with network writes

Hello,

I have a disk that becomes unresponsive when a user tries to write to it via samba. It’s on a LSI raid and I’m running 13.1
I am not very familiar with the user permissions samba writes to a file.

Not telling us much. Is the drive on a Windows or Linux system? If Linux what format? Is it true hardware RAID or FAKE RAID?
