I have a server with samba as PDC working since a long time ago, It worked well serving XP workstations, it had some problems with W7 and with the upgrade to W10 the problems are growing, It mounts a z: disk with the server user homes and uses roaming profiles.
I think it will be better to configure it from scratch, maybe as AD, but I wonder if in the process I can have it using both the PDC (one domain name MYDOMAIN) and the AD (or another PDC) with a second domain name (MYNEWDOMAIN), but using the same homes mounted as Z: . . I’m searching info and I can’t find anything… probably because it is not possible… I’m not sure if I’m explaining well what I want.
