Sagem xn720 usb wireless doesnt connect

Opensuse seems to detect my usb wireless adapter Sagem xn-720s but I cannot connect with it!!
this is what iwconfig returns:
"

After I installed madwifi like listed on other similar threads I tried to connect with Wicd and discovered that Wicd (a Network Manager) detect wireless networks only when I unplug then replug my usb adapter, seconds after that networks disappear again.
The same thing with kwifi Manager and when scanning networks on Yast Wireless Network Manager.
I think somehow the device automatically shutdown after a certain period, but the led on the adapter still flash !
Anyone can help please!

does the output of the command ‘dmesg’ offer any clues?

the dmesg command do respond only when I unplug and replug the device (like always) and this is the resulut:

Note: Once I boot Wicd do find the network and try to connect into it but he show me “unable to obtain IP adress” and then the network dissapear again.

I’m finnaly connected with my Sagem Xn-720s usb wireless adapter.

I had to download the “ar9170” package, here is the link:
