Running X Apps from a Remote Term?

Hi,

Having problems successfully running X programs from my remote Putty. How do you solve the “Unable to open display” error message?

Thanks!..

Do I need to run a X Server on my Win7 like Xming or Cygwin/X just to run X apps?

No, you need to use mobaxterm instead of putty

Actually, it includes an X server, that’s the trick.
