I accidentally stopped the updater applet and now it won’t run on start up. I looked all over YAST to force it to run but no luck? Anyone know how to start it?
the program’s filename is:
opensuseupdater-kde
if you were to open a console (or press ALT-F2) and type that filename in, press enter. it should run again.
then right click on it in the tray, configure, check the ‘start with login’ option.
then log out (K-menu -> leave -> logout) and log back in, it should be ‘attached’ again and come up always in the future.
