Hi
If anyone is interested, I have packaged up the steam compositor and inhibitor so you can have your own Steam X session selected at login…
It’s only packaged for Tumbleweed (as that’s the test system), it also assumes you have steam installed, logged into your steam account and it’s all up to date…
Three files are needed from my testing repository: steamos-compositor, libmodeswitch_inhibitor0 and it’s 32bit buddy libmodeswitch_inhibitor0-32bit
Repository URL: https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/malcolmlewis:/TESTING/openSUSE_Tumbleweed/
Package references:

Gotcha’s, need to get it to logout, at present will reboot the system and second if autologin is set, then it will go straight back to the SteamOS session…

Hi
OK, so at the Steam login press ctrl+alt+backspace twice will kill it
off and return to the windowmanager.
