Is it possible to run PHP8 onto OpenSUSE12 SP5. I already installed it, but it cannot run due to the lack of the PHP8 devel module, which is not available for OpenSUSE12.
Anyone encoutered this kind of situation before?

There is no such openSUSE version. Do you mean SLES/SLED 12 SP5 maybe?
A bit a strange question. openSUSE 12 came only in the versions 12.1, 12.2 and 12.3. And the last date of support of 12.3 was 2015-01-01. That is more then nine (9!) years ago.
So, apart from the fact that it is rather unclear what version of openSUSE you have (is it really openSUSE, the mentioning of SP5 points to SLES/SLED), it should be no surprise that you can not find software for it anymore.
Yes I do mean SLES12SP5.
So the scenario is I cannot run the glpi because the php 8 is installed but not running. This is due to the lack of apache2modphp8 module, which is not available for the sles12 product. Hence, I question whether sles12 can accommodate php8 or not
Yes, the reasonable choice would be to use the newest version, which is SLES15. However, the requirements only allowed me to use SLES12SP5.
Unfortunately this is the openSUSE user support forum and wrong communication channel for SLES/SLED products. You need to use the SUSE communication channels for these products.
How can I access the SUSE communication channels?
Thanks in advance
I googled a bit. Maybe https://scc.suse.com/
