Running Chromiun browser,blanks screen and closes Kde session, Rare issue on Opensuse13.1

? On OpenSuse 13.1 (Linux 3.11.10.21-desktop, KDE 4.11.5 ), when I try to run chromium 41.0.2272.118-75.1 Google’s browser, it blanks the screen and closes kde session, then shows login screen.

-Additional chromium packages installed: chromium-desktop-gnome, chromium-ffmpeg, chromium-pepper-flash.

By the way, that does not happen on another OpenSuse13.1 desktop installation running x11 drivers, that i have.

If an app crashed your session, the even and its cause is likely in your syslog.
Recommend something like the following which should return the event itself. Based on the timestamps, you should more easily then inspect and return results that include the dozen or more entries before the crash.

journalctl | grep chromium
