Hello. I am new to Linux and have heard there is a way to run it completely from a CD without actually installing anything. How can I do this? Thank you.
Go here Software.openSUSE.org and download the LiveCD .iso file. Then use software that can burn an .iso like ImgBurn and burn the .iso file to a cd. Restart your computer and tell it to boot from the cd.
Hope this helps!

There is a choice of LiveCDs because Linux offers you the choice; so if you don’t like KDE, try Gnome or vice versa. Also, because the LiveCD has to run in RAM you need more RAM to run a LiveCD than you would if you installed it.
