I wanted to know if i could run openSUSE from the live CD without installing, like i can with ubuntu’s live CD???
I would want to check if all drivers are ok,before installation.
SO can we run directly from LiveCD?

Yes, that’s what a LiveCD is for.
OK, thanks a lot for the reply. I have decided to boot from my 1 gb usb drive. But upon bootup it says missing operating system, do u have any idea whats perhaps is wrong with the grub settings here?
