I’m using the RSS News plasmoid and usually have Firefox open anyway. When I click on an RSS item it opens in Firefox as it should but I also get a Konqueror tab in the Task Manager and a bouncing Konqueror cursor, though Konqueror itself never opens. I have made Firefox my default application for http in Personal Settings, is there another place where Konqueror might linger as a default browser?

Nope, added Firefox at the top of the list and deleted Konqueror for good measure, but behaviour remains the same…
