Rremove openSUSE_Tumbleweed in history

I removed a bunch of packages, now my zypp history shows (at the end) the following:

2024-07-22 10:35:59|remove |cuda-toolkit-12-1-config-common|12.1.105-1|noarch|root@beast.site|
2024-07-22 10:35:59|remove |cuda-toolkit-12-2-config-common|12.2.140-1|noarch|root@beast.site|
2024-07-22 10:35:59|remove |cuda-toolkit-12-3-config-common|12.3.101-1|noarch|root@beast.site|
2024-07-22 12:22:30|rremove|openSUSE_Tumbleweed|

(did not remove the tumbleweed package (in fact I cannot find it)

at the same time zypper dup doesn’t seem working…

what happened here??

What induced you to remove packages? Removed how? Are those four the only packages you removed? What messages result when you attempt to use zypper? Are you able to login normally? If yes, copy and paste here from your X terminal the failing zypper command and all its output. If you’re only able to login on a vtty, then run the command script after logging in to save all terminal activity to a file you can copy and paste or upload using susepaste.

I wanted to see if I could free space; I removed them with the yast tool. obviously I did not (consiously) remove the tumble weed package (the rremove is not a typo btw) (I removed a bunch more CUDA packages, this is just the tail, nothing strange further up) the zypper message is (sorry for the dutch):

Bezig met inlezen van geïnstalleerde pakketten…
Waarschuwing: U staat op het punt een distributie-update uit te voeren met alle opslagruimtes ingeschakeld. Verzeker u ervan dat alle opslagruimtes compatibel zijn met elkaar voordat u verder gaat. Zie 'man zypper' voor meer informatie over deze opdracht.
Bezig met berekenen van distributie-upgrade…
Geen activiteit.

basically “no activity” (I think there should be some (I am on 20240716 release) - could be I am mistaken but I think I see updates on a different machine I have)

everything works normally, just zypper ( the machine doesn’t seem to be broken )
and this strange rremove message in the zypp history

When I look at the announcements News and Announcements - openSUSE Forums , I see none after 2024-07-16.

it is also the only rremove label in the history (but it goes only back a month (it used to show more I think)

@hcvv ok that at least is explains that

Isn’t that pointing to removerepo action?

I have the following repos:

(zypper lr -U)

The correct thing to do is copy/paste the command with the output. It is only one line more at the beginning of the copy sweep.

It looks as if you have the OSS repo twice: #4 and #2.

I can not say anything about the difference between the two Nvidia ones, nor about that home: repo.

But when indeed a repo was removed, then it will not be visible anymore.

I disabled automatic renewal for repos that where not active, hmmm

but I should be ok?

When repos are disable, it is unimportant if the automatic refresh is on or not.
