RPM packaged firefox 5 somewhere ?

Hello

I am being tired of this old 3.6 firefox, want to upgrade to firefox 5. It is of course available at mozilla.org for my 64 bits suse, but i would like to know if a pre packaged .rpm exists somewhere ?

Thanks for info

Which openSUSE version are you using?
If it’s 11.4, you can install FF 5 from this repo: Index of /repositories/mozilla/openSUSE_11.4

You can try this method:

Open up YAST.

Software Repositories > Add > Community Repositories > Add the Mozilla repository > answer “Yes” to import the GPG key > refresh all enabled repositories

Finally, switch the vendor to Mozilla.

While still in YAST > Software Management > click the repositories tab > select the Mozilla repository > click “Switch all system packages to this vendor” > Accept

You should now have Firefox 5, and will automatically pull in updates from the Mozilla repository from now on.

This is what worked for me on openSUSE 11.4. I might try this on 11.3 when I get the chance.

Wow! I just realized, this was my very first post on the forums? Weird.
