I want to try Picard for tagging flac files. (Not sure it will work). It is available from RPM Fusion repo site. Can I use this with yast to install picard? Please could somebody advise.

I’m not sure whether RPMFusion will work with openSUSE. However Picard looks like it is in the OSS repo for 11.4:

Why do you want to use a rpm from a different distribution (rpm fusion is
centos if I recall correctly)? Picard is available for openSUSE, just search
with yast for it. If you cannot find it with yast the next search should be
with
http://software.opensuse.org
