router problem, sagemcom 3184

Hey!

Today i i was trying to use a router in a first time in my life, and i can’t.
My network icon is show that i connected, but i can’t surf in the internet.

I tryed to ping to google and it was succesfull, but i can’t install apps.

My OS: Opensuse 12.1, kde.
My router: sagemcom f@st 3184

Please help me! Excuse my poor english…:’(

If you can ping google.com, then your network is working. One problem you may
have is with IPv6. One thing to try is changing your nameserver. As root, edit
/etc/resolv.conf and add the lines


nameserver 8.8.8.8
nameserver 8.8.4.4

as the first nameserver entries.

got a similar problem while upgrading 11.4 to 12.1
I found a problem in the connection speed between the pc and the router. See my second last post:

I understood that a problem was a IPv6.
I just powered off IPv6 in Yast, network settings, and that just works!
