He was apparently an early contributor to Unix and will be remembered for the password system and security.

It is indeed quite funny that his son has some sort of fame too. He is the first human being to created a computer worm.

I’m not sure, but I think he went on to work for NSA. His son created the Morris worm circa 1990. But perhaps I have the wrong Morris.
