Ricoh SP111 DDST printer support on Tumbleweed?

Hello,
I am considering migrating to openSUSE Tumbleweed KDE, but I am unsure about printer compatibility.
My printer is a Ricoh SP111 (DDST/host-based). As far as I can see, only Windows drivers are available, and I have not found any Linux driver or PPD.
Has anyone managed to configure this printer with CUPS on openSUSE?
Is there any known workaround (e.g., using a compatible driver, raw printing, or a print server)?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated, as this is currently blocking my full transition to Linux.

If the printer has open drivers I think you can find driver for it (I actually not sure but any open source you usually find it or similar to it in Linux)

I think openSUSE might recognize it and give its driver (Im not a pro in driver things)

INSTALL

main

1) Install netpbm, JBIG-KIT tools, inotify-tools

sudo apt-get install jbigkit-bin inotify-tools

2) Copy pstoricohddst-gdi to cups' filters directory (usually
   /usr/lib/cups/filter). 

3) Make sure it is executable by lp user and owned by root:root (i.e.
   chown root:root pstoricohddst-gdi) 
   
	sudo cp pstoricohddst-gdi /usr/lib/cups/filter/
	sudo chown root:root /usr/lib/cups/filter/pstoricohddst-gdi
   
   

4) Add printer through CUPS' web interface (usually
   http://localhost:631/), click 'Choose file' and select provided PPD-file

5) Print!
