Revert to GRUB2 from messy configuration

Hi,
I installed openSUSE 12.2 after Windows 7 using the tutorial from here - Dual-Booting Windows and openSUSE

Now I’m not using Windows anymore, just for games and some other tasks like Blackberry device manager etc.

I want to know if its possible to clean the messy bootloader installation that I created with EasyBCD and use only the GRUB2 for my dual boot SUSE\WINDOWS ?
My SUSE is using the old GRUB and before that I have another (loader?) in wich I select either Windows or SUSE, probably created by EasyBCD.

If I were you I’d use what you have if it currently works. Support for 12.2 ends in January 2014, so consider making all things new around then or perhaps a month or so after the release of 13.1 (mid-November)

Repairing windows, I guess will need the windows DVD, which you should do once you are ready to update your 12.2 > 13.1
