Resume on Suspend Does Not Work After Clean Install

After the xz-utils hack, I downloaded a clean snapshot a week later and reinstalled openSUSE Tumbleweed. Now after 5-10min of non-use, the computer is automatically set to go into ‘suspend’ mode. Upon waking, I see the correct, but faded background. There is no option for me to enter a password to resume, however. Hence once it goes into this mode, one must do a hard reset. This did not happen prior to me doing a clean install, though this does not happen on my two other machines. The machine in question is a Lenovo desktop, but before the clean re-install, it did not have this issue either (nor the networking issue I reported in the appropriate category). Any suggestions?

@phys1 Hi, what Desktop Environment in use?

Forgive me, that was quite foolish of me to forget to provide the desktop environment I use … all machines I run with openSUSE use KDE.

Forgive me if I didn’t respond properly to this message, someone else asked the same question and I noted it was KDE Plasma.
