I tried, for the first time, suspending to disk and now I can’t use my computer. When it boots, it prints the following messages:
resume: Compressed image
Loading image data pages (564852 pages). . . 100% done
wrote 2206.5 MB in 4.7 seconds (472.3 MB/s)
read 2206.5 MB in 5.4 seconds (408.2 MB/s)
total image i/o: 4412.9 MB in 10.1 seconds (437.9 MB/s)
resume: Compression ratio 0.30
wrote 669.1 MB of compressed data in 4.7 seconds (143.2 MB/s)
read 669.1 MB of compressed data in 5.4 seconds (123.8 MB/s)
total compressed data i/o: 1338.2 MB in 10.1 seconds (132.8 MB/s)
resume: image successfully loaded
And then it does nothing. It’s not exactly dead: it echoes whatever I type (except ^D), but I haven’t found anyway to get it to respond or continue booting.
Each time I reboot, it does the exact same thing, so I’m completely unable to use my computer.
Is there a way to get out of this situation?
Can I force a reboot instead of a resume?
Thanks for your help.
