Restart option in GNOME vs the same in KDE.

I have recently installed openSUSE 11.1 on my HP dv4t laptop and I’ve installed both GNOME and KDE.

I started out using KDE and when I restarted the computer, it behaved as expected by restarting my computer.

But if I use GNOME and choose the Shutdown option, I get this window with 4 buttons one of which is ‘restart.’

When I click on this button, the system behaves as if I’ve chosen ‘logout.’ It logs out and I get the login screen.

The only way I can restart and get the boot-loader so that I can boot into Widows is to choose either shutdown or do it from the login screen.

I was wondering if anyone could help me fix this thing.

Thank you very much in advance.

Sorry, just noticed this post:
Shutdown/restart from Gnome just log me out - openSUSE Forums

I’ll be following that one.

Again, sorry.
